About
Che-Hao Liao is currently working as a Research Scientist at the Advanced Semiconductor Lab at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
Research Interests
Dr. Liao’s research interests include compound semiconductor crystal growth, nanostructure inspection, novel devices design, fabrication, and the analysis of their optoelectronic characteristics. His research topics include the MOCVD growth of nitride-based semiconductors, nano-imprint lithography (NIL) process for micro-pattern or nanostructure implementation, such as nanorod core-shell light-emitting diode (LED) array, for solid-state lighting and display applications. He is now also working on GaN power devices for vehicle power systems and communication applications.
